Flower Child Chatswood — Front of House Supervisor / Shift Leader (Full Time)
We’re hiring a Front of House Supervisor / Shift Leader for Flower Child Chatswood — someone who thrives in busy, high-volume café service, takes pride in standards, and enjoys being part of a tight, supportive team.
We run a fast, organised floor — but we’re big on teamwork and a good vibe. You’ll be supported, coached, and respected on shift. No egos — just good service, clear communication, and people who back each other during peak.
Hours / availability
- Full-time preferred, but we can consider part-time for the right person
- Minimum 4 days/week (including weekends — required)
- Shifts typically start from 7:30am (open availability is highly regarded)
- Progression is based on performance.
Key responsibilities (FOH)
- Run sections confidently during peak (pace + accuracy + guest experience)
- Seating flow, table turns, clearing/resetting, floor communication
- Deliver consistent service standards under pressure
- Handle guest issues calmly and professionally (own it, fix it fast)
- Support onboarding/training and lift floor performance through coaching
- Step into “in charge” responsibility when needed (service flow, standards, team comms)
What we’re looking for
- 1+ years FOH café/restaurant experience (high-volume preferred)
- Strong service fundamentals + speed without losing standards
- Reliable, accountable, team-first attitude
- Clear communicator who takes feedback well and improves quickly
