What you'll be doing
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will deliver advanced, autonomous and evidence based care to people experiencing drug and alcohol related health issues. You will combine expert clinical practice with leadership, education and collaboration to improve outcomes for individuals, families and the wider community.
Conduct comprehensive assessments, formulate diagnoses and develop person centred treatment plans
Prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic investigations, and implement therapeutic interventions
Provide specialist clinical leadership, education and consultation to multidisciplinary teams
Build strong partnerships with patients, families, healthcare providers and community services
Drive quality improvement, apply research to practice and support the ongoing development of Drug Health services
