Barista Wanted – Independent Operator for Busy Specialty Cafe
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Barista to join our team and run operations with full autonomy.
About the Role
You will be the lead barista on shift, managing a fast-paced environment where you handle everything from customer orders to coffee production. This is an ideal position for someone who thrives working independently and takes pride in delivering excellent coffee and service without supervision.
Key Requirements
- Proven ability to work alone and unsupervised – you must be reliable, proactive, and able to manage the entire coffee station efficiently.
- Full availability 7 days a week – flexible shifts across mornings, afternoons, and weekends (no exceptions).
- Strong experience in fast-paced order taking and high-volume service.
- Physically capable of handling 5-6kg of coffee per day (grinding, dosing, and producing drinks solo).
- Expert in setting up, dialing in, and maintaining espresso machines – you should be confident with grinder calibration, extraction adjustments, milk texturing, and consistent quality control.
- Passion for specialty coffee and delivering outstanding customer experiences
