Ever dreamt of a fun and creative job working on one of the biggest short film festivals in Australia? Flickerfest, Australia’s only Oscar and BAFTA Qualifying short film festival, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Production and Marketing Coordinator to join our passionate, dedicated team for the festival's 36th event in January 2027. Reporting directly to the Festival Director and Festival coordinator you will play a crucial role in delivering our marketing plan, coordinating design elements and fulfilling stakeholder benefits, ensuring a seamless experience for all Flickerfest partners and supporting the festival team. Your attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and passion for the arts will contribute to the success of Flickerfest.
As a small, dedicated team, we work in a dynamic and fast paced environment, so we are looking for someone who is flexible, hands on and happy to pitch in and help wherever needed. The role will commence at 3 days per week, increasing to 4 days per week in the lead up to the festival.
Qualifications:
· Strong organisational and excellent administration skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a busy work environment.
· Excellent attention to detail, proven time management skills and ability to work unsupervised at a professional level.
· Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with corporate and government stakeholders, filmmakers, our publicity team, digital marketing consultants, graphic designers and festival team.
·Experience in Management of ambient, print and digital assets for media partnerships and festival branding.
· A flair for creativity and proficiency in using social media and contributing to social media content and campaigns in collaboration with our digital marketing team
· Passion for cinema and the arts with a strong appreciation of Flickerfest’s role in nurturing the next generation of Australian film talent.
·Demonstrated experience in Arts and Culture Events and/or the Film industry required.
