Experienced Commis Chef – Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients, including chopping, measuring, and marinating.
- Cook and present dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
- Assist the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and Head Chef during service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food stock.
- Monitor inventory and inform senior chefs of stock shortages.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Work as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Minimize food waste and follow portion control guidelines.
- Comply with workplace health and safety procedures.
Pay: $4,500.00 – $5,800.00 per month
