The position involves supporting the teaching team to deliver environmental education programs for students from Prep to Year 12 through residential camps and day visits. Teachers will deliver curriculum-based learning in outdoor settings, including rainforest walks, swimming, low ropes and indoor climbing, with a focus on sustainability, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures, personal and social development, and outdoor learning. The role requires working collaboratively with other teachers, developing programs, and building strong school partnerships. Applicants should be motivated, adaptable and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, with relevant qualifications such as first aid, a driver's licence, climbing and water rescue. Training can be provided for required qualifications.
