Wait Staff needed for a Mediterranean restaurant located in Leichhardt/Five Dock
This is a Full-time/casual position
The main duties are:
- Taking customer orders — greeting customers, explaining menu items when needed, taking food/drink orders accurately and entering them into the POS system.
- Serving food and drinks — bringing orders to tables, checking that customers have what they need and generally looking after the dining area.
- Packing takeaway orders — preparing customer takeaway orders, checking that everything is included and packaging food correctly.
- Customer service — being friendly, attentive and dealing with customer requests
- Cleaning during quiet periods ensuring restaurant stays clean
Requirements:
- Available Weekends
- 1 year experience
- Friendly personality, enthusiastic, hardworking and customer oriented.
- Ability to learn quickly (training will be done onsite)
Hours:
Minimum 20hrs per week while being trained, once confident more hours will be given
