Cozy Box is a modern hospitality venue specialising in contemporary Indian fusion cuisine, premium dining experiences, cocktails and private events.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Cook to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes according to our menu and standards
- Prepare ingredients and manage daily food preparation
- Maintain consistency in taste, portioning and presentation
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and storage
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen
- Follow food safety, hygiene and WHS requirements
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Coordinate with chefs, kitchen staff and front-of-house team
- Assist with training and supporting junior kitchen staff where required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 years of relevant commercial kitchen experience
- Commercial cookery qualification preferred
- Strong food preparation and cooking skills
- Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Reliable, organised and a strong team player
- Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
