Job Description
Townsville Auto Spares (Brakeforce Plus) is seeking an experienced and hands-on Branch Manager to lead our operations and continue delivering the outstanding service we're known for. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll take ownership of store performance, lead a dedicated team, and play a key role in driving profitability, customer satisfaction, and business growth.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader with automotive parts knowledge, commercial acumen, and a passion for building high-performing teams.
What You'll Be Doing

Lead the day-to-day operations of a busy automotive parts business

Drive sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction across retail and trade channels

Build and maintain strong customer relationships to generate repeat business and new opportunities

Manage inventory, sales performance, and operational efficiency

Oversee and develop a multi-functional team through coaching, mentoring, and performance management

Recruit, roster, and support staff to ensure optimal store performance

Assist with parts interpreting and customer enquiries when required

Monitor financial performance, prepare reports, and contribute to business planning
-
Ensure compliance with WHS, company policies, and operational procedures
-
Identify opportunities to improve processes, grow market share, and expand trade customer relationships
Qualifications

Previous management experience within automotive parts, spare parts, retail, trade, or a similar environment
-
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams

Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities

Sound commercial and financial understanding

Experience managing KPIs, sales targets, inventory, and business performance

Parts interpreting experience highly regarded
-
A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills

Strong organisational and communication skills
