We are looking for a caring and reliable female Home & Community Care Worker who wants regular, permanent weekly shifts and the opportunity to work close to home.
You’ll be supporting clients in their homes with tasks such as:
- Personal care and companionship
- Domestic assistance and meal preparation
- Transport to appointments or social outings
- Encouraging independence and wellbeing
Our shifts are a minimum of 2 hours each, so you can build genuine relationships and provide quality care without feeling rushed.
Regular weekly ongoing shifts.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be:
- Qualified certificate III Individual Support
- Female (genuine occupational requirement)
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written (genuine occupational requirement)
- Have experience working in Australia and know your way around Melbourne
- Willing to drive between clients homes
You must also have:
- A valid Australian driver’s licence
- Current Police check or NDIS worker screening
- Your own reliable car
- Comprehensive car insurance
- Available services; weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 1.15pm. Wednesdays fortnightly from 5/8 10am to 12pm
The role may on occasion provide personal care for female clients who for religious or cultural reasons require a female carer.
Ability to communicate fluently in English is required to effectively support clients with hearing difficulties or dementia.
