As our organisation continues to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team.
About the Role
We currently have several opportunities available supporting participants with a range of interests, goals and support needs. These roles involve providing one on one community access, capacity building and daily living supports while fostering participant independence and social inclusion.
Current opportunities include:
Participant 1
- 3-hour shift per week
- Supporting a participant with a strong interest in computer hardware and technology
- The successful applicant will be confident engaging in technology-focused activities while encouraging community participation, social engagement and independence.
Participant 2
- 3-hour weekly shift with an additional 2-hour weekly support likely to commence
- Supporting a participant with interests in anime, drawing, sewing and creative activities
- The ideal applicant will have an appreciation for creative hobbies and be able to build rapport through shared interests while supporting the participant to achieve their NDIS goals.
Participant 3
- Two 3 hour shifts per week
- Supporting a young participant to build confidence and capacity in reading, writing and communication
- The successful applicant will be patient, engaging and passionate about supporting learning, personal development and increased independence.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Strong organisational and documentation skills
- A flexible and positive approach to supporting participants with diverse needs
Previous experience within the disability sector is highly regarded; however, applicants with transferable skills and a genuine passion for supporting others are encouraged to apply.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current NSW Working With Children Check
- National Police Check (within the previous 12 months)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable motor vehicle
- Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance
- Smartphone with internet access
- Full Australian working rights
Desirable Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants who hold:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
- Experience supporting participants with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD or Intellectual Disability
- Experience implementing Behaviour Support Plans
- Medication competency
- Manual handling experience
