Based in Gladstone, you'll play a key leadership role in growing our civil engineering capability across Central Queensland while delivering projects that shape industries, communities and regions.
What you'll do
As a Lead / Associate Director Civil Engineer in our Transport Civil Infrastructure team based in Gladstone, you'll provide technical leadership, develop client relationships and drive the successful delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects across transport and community infrastructure sectors.

Lead the planning, design and delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects from concept through to construction

Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities and contributing to business growth

Provide technical leadership and governance across multidisciplinary project teams

Mentor and develop engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration and innovation

Drive quality project outcomes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and engineering best practice

Support strategic growth initiatives and help strengthen Aurecon's presence across Central Queensland
What you'll bring

A degree qualification in Civil Engineering
-
Extensive experience delivering civil infrastructure projects within consulting, engineering or infrastructure environments and proven experience delivering TMR projects

Strong client relationship management and business development capability

Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and mentoring engineers

Proven ability to manage project delivery, commercial outcomes and stakeholder engagement

Strong knowledge of relevant Australian standards, design processes and infrastructure delivery frameworks

RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland) is essential

Excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills
