About your opportunity:
Permanent part-time role, 12 hours per fortnight, located in Charters Towers.
The Clinical Nurse will provide leadership in clinical decision making to give and/or coordinate care to particular recipients of healthcare services.
The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
Comprehensively assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care at an advanced level within a complex environment.
Build and maintain effective relationships with team members, patients and other stakeholders, including participation in relevant networks to achieve work unit outcomes.
Provide nursing leadership in the clinical and professional setting including the role modelling of effective communication and problem solving.
Use information and reporting systems appropriate to the position in order to achieve outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
Provide clinical education and support at an advanced level and demonstrate own professional development.

Charters Towers Health Service is a 25-bed facility providing integrated acute and primary health care services through a range of programs including: community, child, youth and family, mental health, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and outreach services.

Generous remuneration package value up to $19,364 p.a. comprising:
Salary range: $57.76 to $61.850 p.h. part-time (NG6-1)
4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (AHPRA).
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
