We are currently seeking Steelfixers for a busy precast column and panel manufacturing facility in Pakenham! If you are seeking stable work with lots of hours close to home, this job could be right for you!
About the job:
- Steelfixing duties, assembling steel frames for precast panel and column production
- Steel tying and placement for various jobs
- Inserting steel cage systems into formwork ready for pouring
- Assisting with pouring and production duties when required
- Use of tying guns and various other hand and power tools
- Reading off plans and drawings to create rebar cage products such as (D-Walls, pile cages and column cages
- Co-ordinating with formworkers, labourers, production staff and management
About you:
- Available Monday to Friday
- Previous steel fixing experience
- Previous experience in a precast environment is heavily considered
- Able to work solo and as part of a team
- Full Australian working rights
