Duties and Responsibilities
The Cook will be responsible for:
- Preparing and cooking Filipino and Asian-inspired dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Planning and organizing food preparation and cooking activities.
- Ensuring food is prepared and presented to a high standard.
- Monitoring food quality and portion control.
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assisting with menu planning and development.
- Managing stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies.
- Working collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Essential Requirements
- Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience as a Cook.
- Knowledge of Filipino cuisine is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
