Salary: $160,349 - $180,310 FTE (pro-rata for part time hours)
Generous salary packaging: $15,899.94 p/a

We are currently looking for a Public Health Executive Manager to lead our Public Health team at Anyinginyi Health, an organisation enacting real change to close the gap in Aboriginal Health outcomes.
About the Role...
The Executive Manager Public Health plays a key role in assisting Anyinginyi, a community-controlled organisation, to achieve its aspirations to close the gap in health status between Aboriginal and non-Indigenous Australians. The Executive Manager has key responsibility to support Anyinginyi Health’s strategic priority of giving Cultural effective Health Care. This includes valuing our Aboriginal staff, recognising their knowledge, language and culture as our greatest asset.
As a member of the Anyinginyi Executive Leadership Team and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this position will see you managing the staff and resources of the Anyinginyi Public Health Unit to ensure a high standard of Public Health Services is provided in a culturally responsive manner. You will work closely with fellow Executive Managers in multi servicing needs for Anyinginyi Health clients. Specifically, the position will design and implement Health Initiatives, Attraction, Retention and Succession planning strategies that support "Grow our Own": developing Aboriginal employees to be the organisation’s future leaders.
In this role, you will be responsible for:

Implementing Public Health strategies for the organisation

Monitor compliance, policies, procedures of the section

Lead and roll-out Public Health projects and programs with stakeholder engagement

Continuous review and improvement of service delivery

Overseeing budgets and staff performance requirements

About You...

Respect for and responsiveness to Aboriginal culture and protocols

Relevant tertiary qualifications (preferably a Graduate or post graduate in Public Health) and strong experience in Health and Medical Services Management

Knowledge of relevant legislation

Experience communicating and engaging with a range of stakeholders

Current Driver's licence

Criminal history check (Completed within the last 12 months)

OCHRE Card (Working with Children) or the ability to apply
