We are pleased to invite applications for the position of Maintenance Lead to join our UH-60M Black Hawk team based in Oakey.
Your responsibilities will include:
As Maintenance Lead, you are primarily responsible for the UH-60M embedded maintenance program, identifying team composition and authorisation requirements and assessing factors that may impact servicing, environmental, human and operational. All whilst ensuring continuous Communication with the Customer with regard to servicing requirements.
Further responsibilities include:

Providing leadership and supervision over Line and Base maintenance operations for UH-60M in support of the 16 Avn Bde DASR 145 maintenance organisation.

Exercising privileges in the 16 Avn Bde DASR 145 maintenance organisation, including delegated DASR M functions where applicable. These may include specific Responsible Manager delegate privileges and Delegate of the CAM privileges associated with a senior Artificer role.

Ensure detailed supervision of Phase Maintenance Inspections and other Base Maintenance tasks in support of the extended scope of the Responsible Manager and unit EME Operations section is provided; &

Oversee the progression of servicings and identifying outstanding requirements.
About you:
To be successful it essential you demonstrate the following:

Tertiary qualifications (Certificate IV or above) in a relevant discipline (Aeroskills - Avionics, Mechanical, Structures etc.) from a recognised institution

Extensive aviation experience
-
Extensive knowledge or ability to quickly acquire knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements

A holistic appreciation of Continuing Airworthiness Systems
-
Understanding of Human Factors in Maintenance
-
Strong understanding of human resource and Aircraft Maintenance management
Special Requirements:
Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
