As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to drive student enrolments, build strategic partnerships, and expand our market presence.
About the Role
The Business Development Executive will play a key role in increasing student enrolments and developing new business opportunities for the institute. You will be responsible for managing student enquiries, converting leads into enrolments, developing partnerships, and representing Legend Institute within the community.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual with strong sales, relationship-building, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Student Recruitment & Enrolment
- Contact and follow up student enquiries generated through social media, website, walk-ins, referrals, and marketing campaigns.
- Conduct course consultations and provide accurate information regarding courses, fees, admissions, and study pathways.
- Guide prospective students through the enrolment process.
- Maintain high lead-to-enrolment conversion rates.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly enrolment targets.
Business Development & Partnerships
- Develop relationships with migration agents, education consultants, employers, community organisations, and industry stakeholders.
- Identify new student recruitment opportunities and referral channels.
- Establish strategic partnerships to increase student enrolments.
- Attend networking events, expos, seminars, and community engagement activities.
Marketing Support
- Assist with promotional events, open days, and student recruitment campaigns.
- Provide market feedback and insights to the marketing team.
- Support social media and promotional activities where required.
Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional customer service to prospective and current students.
- Respond to enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Maintain positive relationships with students and stakeholders.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate records within CRM and student management systems.
- Track enquiries, conversions, and recruitment activities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with ESOS, National Code, and organisational policies.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in sales, business development, education consulting, student recruitment, or customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Target-driven and self-motivated attitude.
- Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Desirable
- Experience within the education, RTO, CRICOS, migration, or international student sector.
- Knowledge of Australian student visa requirements and education pathways.
- Existing industry or community networks.
- Multilingual skills highly regarded.
