ABOUT THE ROLE
Location: Lance Creek, Victoria
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join the team at our Lance Creek facility working Monday to Friday
6am - 2pm.
You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating daily warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, sorting, put-away, and picking activities. You will lead the morning shift team to ensure all operations are completed efficiently, accurately, and in line with company standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining strict hygiene, safety, and quality standards across the site, ensuring all products are handled and stored appropriately throughout the operation. You will also support a positive and productive team environment while ensuring daily operational targets and customer requirements are consistently achieved.
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience with loading schedules, along with skills experience in planning, leading and coordination shifts and rosters within a warehouse environment. Communication will be one of your key strengths, along with your knowledge of WHS requirements and people management. You will also have experience working within a warehouse computer system.
The ideal candidate will:
- Plan and coordinate daily team requirements to ensure adequate staffing.
- Support workforce planning and cross-training to meet current and future business needs.
- Manage waste, stock control and DIFOT to achieve operational targets.
- Organise coverage for planned and unplanned staff absences.
- Work with the Warehouse Manager to implement operational changes and achieve business objectives.
- Complete accurate and timely shift reports, including tonnage, shift outcomes, key issues and outstanding actions.
- Ensure clear and effective handovers between shifts.
Experience / Qualifications Required
- Knowledge of WHS requirements.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office.
- Experience in warehousing desirable.
