Telum Workmates are seeking experienced and reliable Construction Labourers to join our client on one of Sydney's most unique infrastructure restoration projects, located in the heart of Circular Quay.
This is an opportunity to work on the restoration of a historic underground stormwater tunnel, assisting skilled trades in preserving an important piece of Sydney's heritage while delivering critical infrastructure upgrades.
What's involved?
Working as part of an experienced construction crew, your duties will include:
- Manual excavation and digging
- Assisting with demolition and concrete removal
- Operating hand and power tools
- Concrete breakout and preparation work
- Assisting trades with rebuilding damaged concrete sections
- General labouring and site housekeeping
- Following safe work procedures in a confined construction environment
What we're looking for
To be successful, you'll have:
- Previous construction labouring experience
- Experience using demolition or concrete cutting power tools
- Underground work experience (desired but not mandatory)
- Current Construction White Card
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Ability to work well within a team

We can organise & pay the training for you upfront.
Then half the cost will simply be repaid through small payroll deductions once you commence work.
