An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated Speech Pathology leader to step into a temporary Head of Department role within a small, supportive metro hospital. This maternity leave backfill offers the chance to lead a dedicated team, shape service delivery, and contribute to high-quality, patient-centred care across acute and outpatient settings.

Are You the Right Fit?
The successful applicant will be an experienced Speech Pathologist with demonstrated leadership capability and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient centred care. You will bring:
- Proven experience in a senior clinician or leadership role
- Strong and broad range clinical expertise in acute settings, with a commitment to evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, enabling effective collaboration with medical, nursing, and allied health
- Highly developed organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- A proactive, flexible approach and a genuine passion for service improvement and workforce development
