Job Description
Elastomers Australia are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join the team based in Campbellfield. Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will support the wider finance team and assisting with day to day financial operations and reporting.
Duties
- Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly and annual finance reports

Maintain and update financial data within ERP/accounting systems (e.g. Sage or similar).

Complete mid-month forecast and month end reporting, general ledger reviews for anomalies and accuracy, including preparation of journals.

Complete balance sheet reconciliations and process accrual/prepayment journals
- Calculate annual leave and long service leave on‑costs and associated accruals.

Review month‑end wages file and report headcount actual versus budget.

Prepare and lodge payroll tax, maintaining accurate supporting records.

Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, compliance requirements, registers, and other finance-related administrative tasks.

Assist in annual insurance renewals, including workcover renumeration estimates

Provide support for Accounts Receivable

High attention to detail and accuracy focus, especially in reconciliations and journals.

Provide reception support as required and general administrative and office duties.

Liaise with internal departments (operations, HR) to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies
Requirements

Previous experience in an administration or finance role

Formal qualifications in bookkeeping, finance, accounting or similar

Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills

Strong interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Collaborative and able to work in a team environment and be adaptable

Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft office (Word and Excel)

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Strong ownership of tasks and queries, working through issues before escalating.

Proactive, organised, and able to manage recurring weekly and monthly deadlines.

Flexible and willing to help, other finance areas during peak periods or staff absences.
