About the role
We’re looking for a Plant Operator to join our dedicated team based at our Cambridge Depot, working Monday to Friday with occasional overtime.
In this role, you’ll work alongside delivery crews across Tasmania, safely operating specialised plant and equipment to support network works, as well as assisting with general yard duties as required.
If you’re confident operating heavy plant, hands‑on in your approach, and enjoy working outdoors as part of a skilled team, this is an opportunity to contribute to essential community infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities include

Operate plant & equipment to support our electrical line crews (i.e. Pro Line)

Perform general yard duties to assist day‑to‑day operational requirements

Deliver work tasks on time to meet customer requirements, while maintaining high safety and quality standards

About You
You’ll have proven experience in a similar construction or utilities role and a genuine commitment to working safely as part of a team.

Proven experience operating similar heavy plant & equipment

Current HR Drivers licence
-
High Risk Work Licence – C2 Crane, Forklift, Dogging

Blue/White Card (OHS Construction Induction Card)
