We are seeking a passionate and skilled Wok Chef to join our elite kitchen team. Working under the guidance of our Head Chef, you will play a key role on the line, executing high-volume wok cookery to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Wok Station Execution: Control and execute high-temperature wok cooking to precise recipe standards during busy service.
- Food Preparation & Mise en Place: Maintain high standards of knife work, ingredient prep, and station setup prior to service.
- Plating & Quality Control: Ensure every dish leaving your section meets the restaurant's presentation and flavor standards.
- Station Cleanliness & Equipment Care: Maintain specialized equipment (woks, steamers, burners) in top condition throughout service.
- Food Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to hygiene standards, food safety plans, and NSW Food Authority regulations.
Requirements
- Qualifications & Experience: Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent trade qualification) with 2+ years of experience in a premium Asian kitchen.
- Technical Skill: Demonstrated expertise in traditional wok techniques, heat management, and high-precision knife work.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and calm under the pressure of peak service periods.
- Communication: Clear communication skills to ensure seamless coordination with kitchen and Front-of-House teams.
- Rights to Work: Full Australian working rights preferred.
