Domestic Assistant — Bayside
You don't need a background in aged care to do this job well. You need to be reliable, genuinely warm with people, and take real pride in leaving somewhere better than you found it.
We're growing our team around the Bayside Region, and we're looking for people who want to be part of something from the ground up — not just fill a shift.
What the role looks like
You'll visit older clients in their own homes across the region, helping with light domestic tasks and shopping so they can stay comfortable and independent.
This is day work — no nights, no weekends — and you're paid for your full shift including travel time between clients, plus a kilometre allowance for every kilometre you drive.
You're the right fit if...
- You're a private cleaner, student or someone looking to pick up meaningful work
- You're warm, trustworthy and the kind of person older clients will genuinely look forward to seeing
- You have your own reliable, registered and insured vehicle — you'll need it to get between clients
- You're happy to work across a broad travel radius throughout the Bayside Region
You'll need to hold or be willing to obtain:
- Current National Police Clearance
- Working with Children Check (Employee)
- Evidence of two doses of Covid vaccination
- Two professional references and proof of Australian working rights
