We are seeking an experienced
Senior Centre Director to lead our well-established
115-place Ropes Crossing service, a centre rated
Meeting NQS across all seven Quality Areas.
It is an opportunity for a proven leader to take ownership of a
large, high-performing service and play a key role in driving team success, quality outcomes, and operational excellence.
You will be supported from day one with a structured
4-week induction, along with ongoing guidance from an experienced leadership team.
About the Role
As
Senior Centre Director, you will be responsible for the overall performance and success of the service. Your focus will be on developing strong leaders, building a positive team culture, maintaining high-quality educational practices, and ensuring exceptional experiences for children and families.
- Building and maintaining a strong team culture
- Lead and inspire a large team of educators and leaders
- Build and maintain a strong, positive centre culture
- Drive high-quality educational programs aligned with EYLF and NQS
- Maintain strong relationships with families and the local community
- Oversee compliance, occupancy, financial performance, and centre operations
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and Quality Improvement Plans (QIP)
- Fulfil the responsibilities of the Nominated Supervisor
You will also have
real autonomy in how you run your centre, including
ownership of your budget and the ability to make decisions that support your team, families and service outcomes.

About You
- ACECQA-approved Diploma or Early Childhood Teaching Degree
- Previous experience as a Centre Director or Nominated Supervisor is advantageous
- Comfortable taking on the responsibilities of Nominated Supervisor
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Sound understanding of EYLF, NQS, National Regulations, and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated ability to drive occupancy, team performance, and service outcomes
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
