THE OPPORTUNITY
Location: Birtinya
The Demand Fulfillment Coordinator plays a pivotal role in co-ordination of allocating production supply to sales order demand and determining when sales orders can be shipped on a daily basis. This includes determination of daily plans for sale order demands to be shipped as well as reviewing and setting future planned shipped dates for sales order demands based on inventory and production supply projections. To be successful in this role requires daily collaboration with Sales, Warehouse, Logistics, Production Planners and Demand Planners making timely decisions on sales order shipping plans to enable fulfilment of sales orders within target timeframes and volumes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create weekly production plans for premium cattle
- Provide Commercial team with Pre-production Gap analysis (production boning run utilisation) and unsold product reporting. Includes managing product write-off process within the Sales team.
- Provide Commercial team with revenue Vs operational capacities, through analysis or optimal processing options weekly
- TMS management and compliance, driving revenue maximization weekly
- Post- production load planning weekly
- Carcass utilization management weekly
- Manage off-site processing agreements, co-ordinate with external, and internal company units to ensure revenues and efficiencies are managed to maximise profitable performance
- Involvement in developing predictive forecasting and selling tools
- Following up on actions with the sales team that arise from the cost centre reporting on actual vs budget monthly performance.
- In the longer term, optimise the current sales process for new product development communication flow and sales sign-off process to the Operations Plant.
- Document sales processes and improve processes to remove waste and increase efficiency
ABOUT YOU
- 3-5 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain planning
- Prior experience in FMCG, food or manufacturing environments
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business or related discipline
- Analytical mindset with whole business thinking, able to conduct forecast reviews by account.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, as well as strong skills as a facilitator to reach consensus, buy-in and commitment.
- Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- High Level of Microsoft Excel experience
- Able to provide insight and quickly identify a way forward when presented with challenges.
- Promote and work to continuously improve systems and process development to best practice.
- Demonstrated resilience and ability to quickly engage with change.
