Description
We require a new Restaurant Manager to join the team at our venue in Melbourne.
Requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Valid RSA
- Managing shifts as required.
- Supervising Staff.
- Opening and Closing Venue as required.
- Cash handling as required.
- Customer service.
- Managing functions as required.
- Knowledge of heath regulations.
- At least 2-3 years management experience in a similar bar and restaurant environment
- Candidates must be available to work a variety of shifts including days, nights & weekends
- Experience in cash handling and end of shift procedures is essential
- Effective at motivating staff to maintain a high standard of service in a positive manner
- Must be hands on and self-motivated to lead by example
- Knowledge of liquor laws and compliance guidelines
Main Tasks for Planning, organizing and controlling the venue-
Planning menus with Chefs.
Managing and Maintaining Stock and financials.
Purchasing and following budgets.
All training and supervising of staff.
Reservations, greeting guests.
Ensuring venue complies with all OHS regulations.
This is an exciting opportunity at an established, high volume venues.
The successful candidate will take a very hands-on approach in the day-to-day operations in both the bar and restaurant.
Delivering exceptional customer service whilst maintaining a high standard of venue cleanliness when on shift.

(Salary range 80,000 to 85,000) Plus super
