Currently we are seeking a Senior Physiotherapist P3 to lead a team at State Rehabilitation Service. This position has a clinical caseload in Amputee Rehabilitation, and supervises P2 and P1 staff in Trauma and General Rehabilitation Services.
The successful applicant/s as part of a multidisciplinary team:
- Practices as a Senior Physiotherapist and ensures practice is in accordance with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and SMHS policies and guidelines.
- As part of the inter-disciplinary team, uses advances physiotherapy skills to provide Physiotherapy services to a diverse and complex rehabilitation patient caseload in the State Rehabilitation Service at Fiona Stanley Hospital.
- Acts as a Physiotherapy clinical consultant/resource to Physiotherapists and other health professionals and negotiates and collaborates with the managers and relevant stakeholders to support clinical service delivery and planning.
- Plans, implements and evaluates patient safety and quality of care.
Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth.
