About the Role:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Automotive Parts Interpreter to join our friendly and experienced team at Across multiple group store locations throughout Queensland. As a trusted name in Queensland’s automotive parts industry, we pride ourselves on delivering top-quality products and outstanding service to both trade and retail customers.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of automotive components, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping customers find the right parts for their vehicles. You’ll work with a wide range of well-known brands, including Bendix, Brembo, Ryco, NGK, Penrite, and Nulon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and supply accurate automotive parts and accessories based on customer needs
- Provide expert advice and technical support to retail and trade customers
- Respond to phone, in-person, and email enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Use electronic catalogues and parts systems to locate and confirm correct components
- Process sales, prepare quotes, and follow up on customer orders
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and stay informed on promotions and industry trends
- Assist with stock management, including receipting, labelling, and inventory control
- Merchandise displays and ensure a clean, organised workspace
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter or in a similar automotive parts sales role
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and servicing requirements
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using electronic parts catalogues
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest in the automotive industry is essential
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
