NBMLHD Community Mental Health offers a range of specialised services for children, young people, families and older people, through our community-based services and health centers. Our multidisciplinary health professionals and case managers take a collaborative approach to mental health care by linking with their patients to work together and consult within an environment appropriate to the person's needs.
Are you a passionate Mental Health Clinician looking to work in a dynamic, recovery-oriented community team? We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or Registered Nurse to join the Blue Mountains Assertive Community Treatment Team, based in Katoomba.
Our multidisciplinary team provides intensive, person-centred support to adults living with severe and persistent mental illness who require ongoing community-based care. We work collaboratively with consumers, families, carers and partner agencies to promote recovery, reduce hospital admissions, and support people to live meaningful lives within their communities. This is a role where you will provide assertive outreach, comprehensive assessment, care coordination, and evidence-based interventions for consumers with complex mental health needs. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
