About the role
As a Delivery Driver at KELSO TRADE CENTRE PTY LTD, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers across the greater Sydney area. This is a full-time role based in our Smithfield warehouse location.
What you'll be doing
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to customers
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring items are secured properly
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety protocols
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
- Delivering building material around Sydney Metro area
- Assisting in loading UTEs and preparing for next day deliveries
- Assisting in hardware duties on site, when required
- Heavy lifting involved
What we're looking for
- Valid Australian driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in a delivery or logistics role
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness to lift and manoeuvre packages
- Good knowledge of Sydney Metro area (Advantage)
- Must be available to work on Saturdays
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
