We are seeking compassionate, motivated, and experienced Senior Social Workers to join our dynamic Mental Health team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals experiencing mental health challenges through high-quality clinical care, advocacy, and support.
The successful applicant/(s) as part of a multidisciplinary team, plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates Social Work services to clients in the clinical specialty area of Mental Health, using advanced Social Work clinical practice skills from a recovery orientated and trauma informed perspective. Plans, implements and evaluates client safety and quality of care. Supervises Social Work staff, students and support staff in the unit/clinical area, coordinates duties and manages performance. Practices as a Senior Social Worker and ensures practice is in accordance with the Australian Association of Social Workers Practice Standards and Code of Ethics and SMHS policies and guidelines. The successful applicant/(s) shall be part of a multidisciplinary team provides clinical and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence-based care is delivered to patients within the 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Centre (MHCC). This role will require shifts in the day, evening and nights.
