About the Role
The Manager, Procurement Shared Services will lead a corporate procurement team, overseeing procurement activity across DGS and providing expert advice and high-quality support to internal stakeholders and client departments. The role will manage procurement systems, processes and shared service resources, while supporting staff wellbeing and development, prioritising workloads and delivering improvement initiatives. The position plays a key role in ensuring procurement practices are fair, transparent, accountable and focused on achieving value for money.
Key Accountabilities
Develop and manage procurement strategies, policies, systems, templates and guidance, ensuring consistent and compliant practices across the department.
Prepare high-quality reports, briefs and correspondence for senior management, executives and Ministers, communicating complex procurement matters clearly to diverse audiences.
