Position Purpose
The overall purpose of the Mental Health Clinician/ Qualified Allied Health Professional role is to 1. undertake a variety of clinical and non-clinical support tasks to assist clients to achieve their supporting needs with high quality service standards. 2. for the Clinic lead role only, manage a team of clinicians and a team of MH support workers and lead the clinic in general, depending on your skills and experiences.

Key Accountabilities, Responsibilities & Deliverables
Service Provision
1. Psychotherapy/Counselling/ Diagnoses (if qualified) Service: assist in the development, delivery and evaluation of high-quality therapeutic services and maintain respectful and compassionate relationships with program participants.
2.Case management: provide care and practical support to eligible individuals with an NDIS Plan or other fundings to strengthen their abilities to coordinate and implement supports and participate more fully in the community.
3. Supervision (if applied): providing clinical supervision to less experienced clinicians or mental health support workers, including maintaining clinical standards and supporting clinical governance
4. Provide services and supports in collaboration with other stakeholders.
5. Ensure that positive and productive relationships exist among LWWHC, the local community, and families.
6. Demonstrate an understanding and ability to provide services and supports within the parameters of the funding available.
7. Participate in regular professional development opportunities to keep up with current developments
8. Fulfill administrative requirements such as data collection and record keeping
9. Ensure compliance with our duty of care to clients (Code of Conduct).
10. Ensure services meet quality service standards, and contract agreements.

SELECTION CRITERIA
Qualifications & Knowledge/Experience
· Bachelor degree or above in relevant professions, i.e., AASW, AHPRA or ASORC
Technical Competencies
1. Demonstrated your professional and personal values align with LWWHC values
2. Demonstrated NDIS knowledge and ability to provide individualised practical support to clients and their families/carers in accordance with the client’s NDIS goals.
3. Demonstrated ability to apply therapeutic interventions, assessment tools and group facilitating under most government and non-government funding schemes, i.e., Medicare, Workcover, EAP etc
4. Demonstrated skills and ability in engaging and working with clients from diverse demographic and professional background
5. Demonstrated ability to work under KPI for employee model only
6. Demonstrated excellent high level communication skills including verbal, written and interpersonal.
7. Demonstrated good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and other management software.
8. For clinic lead role only, demonstrated your good business development skills and experiences
Licenses & Accreditations
· Current NDIS Worker Card
· Current Blue Card
· Membership in relevant professions, i.e., AASW, AHPRA or ASORC
· Driver’s license and a car (required for all roles which travel to deliver services)
