Coffee Machine Warehouse Australia is a leading supplier of domestic and commercial coffee machines, equipment and accessories. We work with a wide range of coffee machine brands and customers across Australia, from home coffee enthusiasts through to cafés, restaurants, hotels and commercial businesses.
We are looking for an experienced coffee machine technician to join our team and take a leading role in developing and managing our in-house service department. This department is seperate to our sales / service department & your role will be to manage the servicing & repairs for customer owned equipment bought into our Clayton warehouse.
This is an opportunity for someone with existing experience working with coffee machines who is looking to take control of their workflow. The successful applicant will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing and repairing a wide range of domestic and commercial coffee machines, while also helping to develop the systems and processes that support our in-house service operation.
Over time, this role has the potential to develop into the person responsible for the day-to-day operation and performance of the entire service department.
* Your Role Will Consist Of:
- Working at our Clayton warehouse Monday - Friday , 8am to 5pm
- Diagnosing coffee machine faults with customer owned equipment
- Servicing and repairing domestic and commercial coffee machines
- Diagnosing issues with electronic control systems, touchscreens and digital interfaces, pumps, boilers, valves, solenoids, heating systems, sensors, control boards and other machine components
- Replacing or repairing faulty components
- Carrying out preventative maintenance
- Testing machines and confirming repairs
- Documenting parts used & labour to be charged
- Providing technical support to customers
- Communicating repair updates and timeframes
- Supporting the development of the in-house service department
- Managing your own workload & timeframes
- Helping establish efficient workshop processes and procedures
This is a hands-on technical position for someone who has previous hands-on experience working with coffee machines and solving problems.
You will understand that coffee machines are complex systems involving:
- Water
- Pressure
- Heat
- Pumps
- Boilers
- Valves
- Solenoids
- Sensors
- Electronic control systems
- Software and digital interfaces
You should be comfortable diagnosing how these systems interact with each other.
