About the role
Within the City Strategic Planning team, Corporate Strategy is dedicated to channelling the City’s long-term vision into action on the ground, with a strong focus on outcomes at all levels.
As Senior Project Officer - Corporate Strategy you will work with leaders and stakeholders from all areas of Council to lead and champion our Integrated Planning and Reporting framework.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Helping to embed Council's Community Strategic Plan 2025-2050 – our long-term community vision – across Council
- Leading and supporting development & review of Council’s Delivery Program & Operational Plan (DPOP) , working productively with staff at all levels
- Leading and supporting high-quality monitoring and reporting against Council's goals, including Council's quarterly DPOP report, Annual Report , key strategies reports, dashboards, and administration of related reporting systems/frameworks
Supporting broader City Strategic Planning team priorities as required, including championing the City's Parramatta 2050 Global Vision and strategy governance across Council

About you
Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong focus on continuous business improvement, with a passion for driving maturity in strategy, corporate planning, and best practice performance and outcomes reporting for our decision-makers and community.
You will have proven stakeholder engagement skills, high level analytical and problem-solving skills, and capability to work effectively with staff from all areas of the organisation, senior management, and the community.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the essential requirements in the Position Description. , including the below q ualifications:
Tertiary qualification that relates to planning, business, innovation, social sciences, project management, and/or other relevant discipline.
