Inclusion Teacher
At Immanuel Primary School, we are committed to providing education where each child is supported to grow and develop as a whole person. We are seeking applications from passionate Inclusion educators committed to continuous improvement and making a positive impact, for a replacement contract for Term 3 and 4.
This is a part-time 0.6FTE position, commencing in July 2026.
As an Inclusion Teacher, you will:
Teach within the classroom framework of the Australian Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program, ensuring students with diverse learning needs can access the core curriculum.
Plan and implement evidence-based, student-centered adjustments and interventions that are highly engaging, supportive and inclusive.
Develop, monitor, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalised learning pathways to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, school leaders, parents and external allied health professionals to build team capacity and ensure continuity of support.
We are looking for someone with:
Suitable relevant teaching qualifications.
A strong understanding and experience in the Australian Curriculum.
Knowledge of or experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program Framework is desirable.
Knowledge of the requirements for teaching students with specific learning needs and/or disabilities and the impact on learning and wellbeing.
A passion and commitment to student-centered learning that is evidence-based, engaging and inclusive.
Strengths in communication, collaboration and classroom management.
A demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, external providers and colleagues.
