Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this stand-alone Head of Reward position plays a pivotal role in shaping GrainCorp’s reward agenda. You will partner with senior leaders and the Board to ensure our remuneration frameworks support business performance, attract and retain critical talent, and remain competitive in a changing market. You will be based at the International Towers Barangaroo, one of Australia’s most sustainable and award-winning workplaces. Our hybrid model offers the flexibility of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Lead Executive and broader employee remuneration, including annual reviews, benchmarking and remuneration recommendations
- Develop and oversee short- and long-term incentive plans, ensuring alignment with business performance and shareholder expectations
- Provide expert advice to the CEO, Board and Human Resources Committee on remuneration matters and emerging market trends
- Own remuneration governance for the GrainCorp Leadership Group, including executive contracts, appointments, changes and terminations
- Lead job evaluation and job architecture, ensuring consistency, equity and effective remuneration outcomes across the organisation
- Lead the preparation of GrainCorp’s Annual Remuneration Report and manage relationships with external remuneration consultants and industry networks
Our successful candidate will come to us with extensive experience across remuneration and reward, with the credibility to act as the organisation’s subject matter expert. You will also have demonstrated experience in:
- Providing strategic reward advice & consulting across a complex and diverse organisation
- Partnering effectively with multiple stakeholders including Board and C-Suite
- Experience within an ASX-listed organisation, with a strong understanding of remuneration governance, disclosure and reporting requirements
- Experience in the administration and management of employee share plans and equity-based incentives
- Strong experience in the design, governance & administration of incentive plans
- A proven ability to develop & deliver Reward education and communication programs
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to anticipate issues, identify opportunities & drive outcomes
- Demonstrated agility and adaptability, with the confidence to challenge the status quo, continuously improve and manage competing priorities effectively
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels and build trusted relationships across the organisation
