About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Applications Development Team Lead to provide digital solution delivery across custom applications, integrations and digital platforms. Reporting to Applications Development Manager, this role will lead a team of developers in ensuring technology solutions align with business objectives while maintaining high standards of architecture, security, governance and delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, implementation and support of custom applications, integrations and digital solutions.
Provide technical leadership and oversight throughout the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (S-SDLC).
Coordinate application architecture activities and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external technology partners to deliver strategic initiatives.
Ensure applications and digital platforms meet security, compliance, governance and operational requirements.
Evaluate emerging technologies, development methodologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
Drive best practice development standards, code quality and solution reliability across the development function.
About You
Tertiary qualification in Information and Communication Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong experience designing and delivering custom applications, integrations and digital solutions.
Expert in Microsoft technologies such as .NET, Azure, SQL Server.
Experienced with modern web frameworks such as Angular, React,Vue.js or similar.
Proven experience in leading all phases of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (S-SDLC).
Experience supervising, influencing and mentoring team members to deliver positive outcomes.
Proven knowledge of application architecture, system integration patterns and modern development practices.
Experience deploying and supporting enterprise applications within CI/CD environments.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver practical business solutions.
Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
A passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
