About the Role:
Are you a hospital pharmacist with experience in paediatrics, neonatology, obstetrics or women's health looking for a rewarding role?
Canberra Health Services (CHS) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist to join our Women, Youth & Children pharmacy team on a permanent basis. Applications are welcomed from pharmacists seeking either full-time or part-time employment.
This position offers the opportunity to work across a diverse and rewarding specialty area in hospital pharmacy, supporting the care of women, newborns, children, adolescents and their families at Canberra Hospital and the Centenary Hospital for Women, Youth & Children.
Working alongside experienced pharmacists and multidisciplinary teams, you will provide specialist clinical pharmacy services across obstetrics, gynaecology, neonatology, paediatric medicine, paediatric surgery and adolescent health, helping optimise medicines use and improve patient outcomes.

Tertiary Referral Service: Canberra Hospital is the only tertiary paediatric teaching hospital for the ACT and surrounding NSW region. The Centenary Hospital for Women & Children provides more than 3,700 births each year and includes a tertiary Level 6 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Professional Development: The CHS Pharmacy Department operates a successful AdPha Accredited Residency Program, an excellent intern program and several Registrar Training Residency Programs. You will have access to ongoing professional development, mentoring, teaching and research opportunities.
Innovative Practice: Be part of an innovative pharmacy department that continues to expand scope of practice and implement new models of care, including Partnered Pharmacist Medication Charting, credentialed accuracy checking technicians and remote clinical pharmacy services.

The position is offered on a permanent part-time or full-time basis on site and includes participation in weekend, after‑hours and on‑call rosters. Applicants must be able to work these shifts. Flexible working arrangements may be considered in line with the ACT Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement and operational requirements.
