Shellharbour centre is a purpose-built service, and we are looking for a motivated
Trainee Early Childhood Educator to join our team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to
earn while you learn, gain practical experience working with children aged 0-5, and work towards your
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

About the role:
As a Trainee Educator, you will learn from experienced educators while developing the knowledge and skills required to build a successful career in early childhood education.
You will:
- Work towards your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Gain practical experience working with children aged 0-5
- Build positive and nurturing relationships with children
- Assist with the implementation of educational programs under the guidance of experienced educators
- Support play-based learning and children's development
- Assist with maintaining a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment
- Develop your understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
- Work collaboratively with educators, families and the wider centre team
- Participate in training, professional development and mentoring
- Learn about child safety, health, wellbeing and early childhood regulations
- Complete your study requirements within the expected timeframe
