Infrastructure Canberra is seeking a Data and Reporting Officer.
Reporting to the Senior Director WHS, this role is responsible for delivering and enhancing data governance, collection, analysis and reporting within Infrastructure Canberra’s WHS Management System, with a strong focus on Power BI reporting solutions.
A core focus of the role is the design, development and optimisation of data models, reporting architecture, and end-to-end Power BI solutions, with an emphasis on automation, transparency and reproducibility. The successful candidate will document data models and reporting frameworks to ensure consistency, scalability and reuse across the branch.
Success in this role requires strong data literacy and demonstrated experience in Power BI, including data modelling and dashboard design, along with the ability to translate stakeholder needs into effective analytical and visual insights.
Key duties include:

Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports to support WHS insights and decision-making

Build and maintain robust data models, integrating multiple data sources

Establish and maintain data governance, validation and quality assurance processes

Translate stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable insights
