Ridewood Photography is expanding into Sydney and we’re looking for experienced event photographers to join our growing team.
Established in 2016, Ridewood Photography has become one of Melbourne’s leading event photography providers, covering everything from birthdays and corporate functions to hospitality venues, sporting clubs, weddings and private events.
We’re now building our Sydney team and are seeking reliable photographers who can represent the Ridewood Photography brand to a high standard.
You’ll be responsible for photographing a range of events across Sydney, delivering high-quality images, and providing a professional client experience from start to finish.
This is a casual freelance position with flexible work based on bookings and availability.
Responsibilities:
- Photograph events across Sydney
- Capture candid, posed and atmosphere shots
- Deliver a professional client experience
- Cull and edit images to Ridewood Photography standards
- Deliver edited JPEG files within 48 hours of the event
- Follow Ridewood Photography shooting and editing guidelines
- Maintain professional communication and presentation
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years professional photography experience
- Strong event photography portfolio
- Experience photographing events, nightlife, hospitality venues, corporate functions, birthdays or weddings
- Experience editing and delivering professional galleries
- Professional camera equipment suitable for low-light environments
- Reliable transport
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently

- Professional DSLR or Mirrorless Camera
- Fast lenses suitable for low-light photography
- External flash
- Backup batteries and memory cards
