What you'll be doing
The Asset Planning Manager, working with the AFMO System Administrator , is responsible for the maintenance of accurate and reliable asset data bases within the District and for managing reporting processes and providing a high level of data analysis.
The position will be part of an asset management team which will lead the ongoing continuous improvement of our approach to asset management, in line with the requirement of the Ministry of Health’s Asset Management Policy and Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) and Asset Management Plan (AMP) requirements.
The position will be critical to the evolving asset maturity within the District by developing and maintaining asset registers as per relevant standards and the Asset Management Framework.
The position will have wide stakeholder engagement with multiple building service and medical and non-medical equipment managers and support forward asset replacement planning and capital planning decisions as well as providing advice and expertise through reporting to asset owners on asset data, asset utilisation, condition, maintenance and performance.
The position will also provide asset management project support and support for Health Infrastructure lead projects like the SAMP, AMP and AMA.
