Job Description
A professional commercial furniture business that has been in operation for 30 years is seeking to employ a Spray Painter to work in their new purpose built manufacturing facility that has a new Spray Booth. The position is casual to commence with, however there maybe an opportunity to make the transition to a permanent position.
The duties associated with this position include:
- Preparing Timber and Metal product surfaces.
- Appropriate spray painting techniques for the products.
- Completing work in a timely manner to assist with production workflow across the factory.
- Adhering to safe work practices.
- Contributing with work colleagues for effective workflow.
- Reading and interpreting design/s & instructions for quality control purposes.
Requirements
- Trade qualifications.
- Previous experience spray painting metal and timber products.
- 2 pack experience desirable but not essential.
- French polishing experience well regarded, although not essential.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Adherence to work health and safety policies and procedures.
