Ready to take your next step in aviation? Maroomba Airlines is looking for reliable, safety-focused and customer-focused Ground Handlers to join our Perth Airport team on a part-time and casual basis.
Since 1985, Maroomba Airlines has proudly operated as a Perth-based charter airline, delivering safe, dependable and professional aviation services across Western Australia and beyond.
This is a practical, fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You will work close to the action, supporting passengers, baggage, freight, aircraft and ground support activities as part of our Perth Airport operations.

About the role
In this role, you will help keep our daily operations moving by:

Safely loading and unloading aircraft, baggage and freight.
- Assisting passengers with check-in, boarding, arrivals and friendly customer service.
- Supporting aircraft arrivals, turnarounds and departures.
- Following aviation safety, security, Dangerous Goods and Company procedures every day.
- Operating ground support equipment once trained and authorised.
- Assisting with airside driving, aircraft towing and apron activities where required.
About you

You may already have experience in aviation, airport operations, freight, logistics, customer service or another hands-on role.
- You are reliable, punctual and take pride in doing the job safely and properly.
- You enjoy working with people and can communicate professionally with passengers, and colleagues.
- You stay calm, focused and organised in a busy airport environment.
- You have good attention to detail and can confidently complete basic records and documentation.
- You are physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and working outdoors.
Requirements

Ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card.
- Current unrestricted C Class driver’s licence.
- Availability to work shift work, including early mornings, nights, weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to perform manual handling and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Desirable experience
-
Previous ground handling, ramp, freight, passenger services or airport operations experience.
Dangerous Goods awareness certification, Radio Operator Certificate, First Aid certificate or Perth Airport Authority to Drive Airside.

Aviation, travel, logistics or transport-related qualifications.
