Site Supervisor – Medium Density Townhouse Projects
About Us
We are an established property developer and builder delivering high-quality medium-density townhouse developments across Melbourne. With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to join our team and oversee residential developments from commencement through to completion.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day site management of townhouse development, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule and to a high standard of quality.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes ownership, communicates well with trades and consultants, and understands the importance of quality workmanship and programme delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise medium-density townhouse construction projects
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and site trades
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with plans, specifications and building regulations
- Monitor construction programme and project timelines
- Maintain a safe and compliant worksite at all times
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout all stages of construction
- Liaise with consultants, engineers, building surveyors and suppliers
- Organise site materials, deliveries and scheduling of trades
- Manage site documentation, reporting and daily site records
- Identify and resolve construction issues proactively
- Ensure projects are delivered to practical completion on time and within budget
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience supervising townhouse or medium-density residential projects
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong leadership and problem-solving ability
- Trade background or relevant construction qualification preferred
- Knowledge of Victorian building regulations and OH&S requirements
- White Card essential
- Driver’s licence essential
