The Flood Restoration Portfolio (FRP) at Lismore City Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Project Managers and Project Engineers to help deliver one of Australia’s largest local government infrastructure recovery programs. We’re looking for professionals with experience across:
- Civil infrastructure
- Roads and bridges
- Waste management
- Water infrastructure

Whether your expertise is in civil construction, water and wastewater networks, pump stations, treatment facilities, waste operations or broader infrastructure delivery, you’ll play a key role in projects that make a genuine difference.

We’re Looking for Professionals Who Can Demonstrate
- Experience delivering civil, water, wastewater or waste infrastructure projects.
- Strong project planning, contract administration and construction management skills.
- Ability to manage consultants, contractors and multiple stakeholders
- Sound understanding of project governance, budgeting and risk management.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
What you'll need to be successful
As the successful candidates, will have knowledge and some experience in applying civil construction and project management principles and practices. Skills and/or knowledge in managing time, setting priorities, contract administration, project management and a strong stakeholder engagement focus are all required for this role.

- Term Contract: contracted hours of work 35 hours a week/70 hours a fortnight up to 31 December 2027.
