About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable, physically fit, and proactive Warehouse All-Rounder / Trade Assistant to join our team on a casual basis.
This is a highly varied, hands-on role where you will actively support our assembly and construction teams. You won't just be moving stock; you will help prep building kits, safely use power tools, and ensure materials are correctly staged for our modular studio builds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly & Build Support: Assist the trade team with basic structural prep, handling timber/steel frames, and modular unit assembly.
- Tool Operation: Safely operate basic hand and power tools (such as cordless drills and circular saws) to unpack, modify, or prep components.
- Kit Prepping & Picking: Accurately pick, sort, and organize construction hardware, brackets, and fixture kits required for upcoming studio builds.
- Receiving & Logistics: Safely unload deliveries of heavy building materials, cladding, and panels. Move bulky components across the warehouse floor.
- Housekeeping & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free construction/warehouse space (waste management, sweeping, tool tracking).
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 1+ years of basic experience in a building, construction, hardware (e.g., Bunnings), or carpentry assistant environment.
- Tool Competency: Confident and safe usage of basic hand tools and power tools.
- Physical Fitness: Highly capable of heavy lifting, bending, and physical labor (handling bulky modular components).
- Attitude: A reliable, punctual team player who takes direction well, respects site safety, and can work independently.
- Licenses (Optional but Highly Regarded): A current Forklift License (LF) or Construction White Card is a great bonus, but not mandatory.
